DeNami Design Summer Blog Hop!!!

I am SO happy to be able to participate in another DeNami Design blog hop. I love my DeNami stamps and welcome any chance to ink 'em up!

If you arrived here from Suzanne's blog, then you're hopping along just fine! If you've happened across my blog and would like to start at the beginning, you can start at the DeNami Design blog.

I used one of my favorite DeNami images in a totally new way. The cloud stamp was stamped, fussy cut and layered repeatedly to create...a flower! The sentiment and shimmery chocolate cardstock are also from DeNami Design. Take a look...

Before you hop on to visit with the tremendously talented Wendy Elliott, make sure to leave a comment here to be eligible to win one of these awesome prizes...THREE $20 gift certificates to DeNami's website. One gift certificate will go to a random participant (DT members not eligible) and then TWO gift certificates will go to TWO people who comment along the hop. You have until July 9, 2012, 11:59 pm PST, to leave comments on all the blogs (to be eligible  for a prize).

My color scheme was inspired by the current challenge at DeNami Addict so I'm going to link this up over there. If you're not already following DeNami Addict, you're missing out! Tina and Wendy share lots of fresh ideas for DeNami stamps, and they're awesome ladies too.

This will also be added to the Stamp It! Cards Week Birthday Card challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Barb xo

I LOVE the watercoloured effect, Barb - stunning! And the texture of those leaves...I just want to pet it. The idea of using a cloud stamp to make a flower is so wonderfully out-of-the-box. I never would have thought to pair all these rich colours with the chocolate cs, but it's PERFECT! Just the right amount of contrast & shine to really show it off. AWESOME!

Barb, your flower is just beautiful! Reminds me of a hyrdrangea; love the use of stamps in non-intended ways... All the textural layers on your card are great, too--burlap leaves, dotted ribbon, twine, the doily...yummy.
