I used a sketch to help with my layout and a never-before-inked (the horror!) Sushi Bar set from TAWS to make this card. I downloaded some free digital origami papers from here.
I quickly colored the fortune cookies with Copics...and it shows! LOL I still have a lot to learn about shading and dimension, but this is the card you're stuck with folks. Repeated attempts did not go any better ;)
I love the sentiments Alison included with this set...her handwritten fonts are so whimsical.
The detail in these papers is so pretty...the pinks, greens and browns are lovely together.
I'm linking it up to these challenges:

okay...so I think you need to give this card to yourself because "you rock"...
This is fabulous! I think your Copic coloring is very good! Love the dimension you have created with the various popped up elements. Splitting the origami paper is such a neat little touch.
BTW, thanks for the link to the free paper!
Happy New Year Barb :)
Yes, I love those papers & your cute card!
I love this pattern - origami papers are so detailed & gorgeous. And how fun are the cookies? I had to save my last fortune because it made Rob laugh so hard I thought he wasn't going to make it - it said my mind was quick and my memory was good ;)
This is adorable, Barb, and you're way too hard on yourself! It's very well done!!
