*** I'm having issues with Blogger and my laptop. My apologies for the strange formatting. ***
Welcome!!! I'm hopping along with DeNami Design's January Blog Hop today and if you've been hopping along with us from the start, you should have come here from the blog of the ever so talented Paulina Nakamura. If you've happened across my blog and would like to start at the beginning, please visit the DeNami Design blog for a list of participants. I think you'll want to start at the begining though. There is awesome inspiration and FABULOUS prizes to be won!
You have until January 14, 2013, 11:59 pm PST, to leave comments on all participating cblogs to be eligible for a prize. There are THREE $20 gift certificates to their website! One gift certificate will go to a random participant and TWO gift certificates will go to TWO people who comment along the hop!
My first card uses fabric tapes. I know it's not washi tape, but it's tape and I wanna use it in this design. LOL!
I taped strips of fabric tape to printer paper then stamped J77 Large Daisy Blossom and G83 Small Brushed Leaf using Brilliance ink (works great on porous surfaces). N134 Teeny Heart Background was stamped with VersaFine ink to dress up the kraft card base. A window was die cut in the card front and a piece of acetate card stock stamped with G113 Small Birthday Blessings using StazOn ink was adhered on the inside.

Second up is another birthday card using this month's sketch from Artful Delight. The card base was stamped with J16 Small Splatter and E112 Small Starburst. CL-F216 Happy Birthday Script was stamped on the largest patterned circle. I used gold washi tape to anchor the bottom star.
My final card uses washi tape as an adhesive. J65 Camera (a must-have image!) was stamped on acetate card stock with StazOn ink. It was fussy cut and adhered with small pieces of WT401 Pink Stripes and WT402 Black Stripes washi tapes. A single word from CL-F225 Sending Smiles was selectively inked and stamped on a vellum tag and tied to the camera with a piece of twine from the TW001 Confetti 3-pak.
That's it for me, but before you head off to visit with the fabulous Wendy Elliott make sure to leave a comment to improve your chances of winning a prize. The awesome spring release just launched and a gift certificate would make shopping SO much more fun! ;)

Three terrific cards, all great waye to use washi tape, but the first with the bold fabric tapes show how well they can be disguised for a wonderful look.
