A HUGE thank you to the fabulous Lawnscaping DT for awarding a special mention to Chloe HERE.
Happy Birthday Chloe!!!
Card #1:
She first pressed the inkpads into the cardstock to create the grass and sky. Then she applied the cloud and circle (also pressed into the inkpad) diecuts included with the kit. She stamped out the frog prince and fussy cut him (perfectly at that!), stamped out her sentiment and drew on some sunrays.
Card #2:
Her second card used more die cuts from the kit. She stamped the unicorn with Memento ink and applied it to the edges of her card then assembled the layers. She applied Stickles to the smaller flowers so they'd stand out more.
Card #3:
Next, she used more die cuts and paper strips from the kit...including the belly band decorating the kit's packaging! She stamped her sentiment using this an older cursive alpha set from Studio Calico, assembled her focal point and applied Stickles to random dots....love it!
Card #4:
Finally, my personal favorite, a masculine birthday card. She tore the edge off a cardstock scrap and stamped the sentiment repeatedly in various colors. She tied embroidery floss around the edge which helps accent the softer colors in her sentiment panel.
Thanks for popping by :)
Barb xx
