I'm participating in Muse challenge #5 for the first time tonight. I love the concept, the encouragement to visit and comment on fellow participant's creations and how the winner is selected by votes from peers.
This week's muse inspired me in so many ways. Summery colors, die cut sentiment, chevrons and white space separating the patterns. Marion's card is phenomenal!
Initially, I loved the card I created, but now it feels too busy to me. That is why I participate in challenges though, to challenge myself! :)
I think my mistake lies with the mix of dark and light colors...too much overlapping isn't pleasing to the eye and the sentiment, although diecut and raised up on foam dimensionals, is lost in the mix. I'll know better next time... ;)
As always...thanks for stopping by,
