muse #5...second take

I'm back with another card made for this week's Muse card club challenge!

Here is Marion's awesome card. Yet again, I was inspired by the summery colors, use of the alpha's negative    diecut and that pop of dark blue.

I switched a few things around this time. I love how an inspiration piece can spark so many different ideas!

And, here's the full card!

*sigh* I'm happy with this one.

Happy crafting!!

Hi Barb, I love the card you made for Muse this week. The background colour is so rich, and the chevrons, placed sideways, what a great idea! the blue, matches perfectly! Muse is a great blog site, so much fun to have comments from others on the site and be able to actually vote. Thank you for coming over to my blog,I was hoping you might pop back and join me as a follower, I am a new blogger and card maker, and fellow Canadian...I used to live in NB, in a little spot named Blackville, do you live any where near there?? I am now in BC, but have lots of great friends in NB. Thanks again for your sweet comments.

I love the negative die cuts! Getting them all lined up so perfectly...you're some sort of wizard, hmmm? :) The colours are gorgeous and I love the off-side 'you' to go with. This card rocks too :)

Hey Barb! I just love those chevrons and those colours together. Seriously awesome! And thank you as always for leaving such sweet comments on my blog - they truly do mean a lot to me! For the old Kim Hughes baby set - I can't for the life of me remember what it was called and unfortunately I didn't save the packaging. I'm going to do a little poking around on the web later to see if I can figure it out, and if I do, I'll let you know. I was hoping it would be a Kismet set too, but if I heard correctly, I don't think Kim plans to release any more from that collection :( Hopefully I'm completely and totally wrong!! I'll let you know if I can find the name of that baby set though...stay tuned :)

Hey Barb!
Well that didn't take long! YES, it's called Baby Love - here's a link I found if you'd like to take a closer look :) - hopefully it works...

It's the negative sentiment (not as in negative, as in cut out lol) that I love, this is a super fabulous card.

Hi Barb, thanks for your words of encouragement on my blog today, I appreciate all your kind word, I am so new to card making and every word of support means so much to me! You mentioned that you are waiting for summer to come...when I lived in Blackville I don`t remember there being much of a summer LOL! I do remember there being mounds of snow however. My friends in BC would tell us their flowers were coming and we would be sitting with a meter of snow in the yard. Oh well I hope for your sake that the snow will be out the door soon! I am in BC now and we still have snow, but today for the first time I saw green grass poking through. I do miss my friends from the east. I have a friend in Blackville who has a new baby who just turned one a month ago and I would so love to come and visit her. That is when the distance seems so far away. Anyway...long note...but thanks for your lovely comments, your are so sweet.
